Specifiers

You draw the wall. We sculpt it.

You put your name to a project, and a badly set-out relief shows for twenty years. What you are missing is not a catalogue: it is someone who will tell you, before the order, whether the pattern holds at that scale, on that substrate, and what it weighs.

That is what a project adviser does. The appointment is free and carries no obligation.

What we bring to the project

Technical feasibility

We say whether a pattern holds on your substrate, at your scale, and on what conditions.

Setting-out on your drawings

On your files, with the cuts and the awkward points resolved. Modules never fall by chance on a corner or a window reveal.

Adapting a pattern

A relief can be redrawn to hold an imposed format. It is workshop work, not a rescaling.

Copyright respected

The 44 pieces in the Design Line are signed. The author is credited on every sheet, and their name follows you to the site.

A collaboration in four stages

  1. Appointment

At the Beausoleil showroom or on your project. You see the reliefs in raking light, which no photograph conveys. We survey the constraints of the substrate and of the laying.

  2. Study

Setting-out on your drawing, choice of reference, adaptation of the pattern if the format calls for it. We hand back a dimensioned laying drawing and the weight per square metre adopted.

  3. Prototype

One module cast in the intended finish, to show your client. This is where questions of colour and depth are settled, before production.

  4. Laying

By your own contractor, with our support, or by our fitters. We supply the setting-out, the recommended tools and the joint details.

Which one for your project

Six collections, six different answers. This table sets them side by side on what decides a project: format, weight and how the material behaves.

A property is only shown when every reference in the collection carries it.

The reaction-to-fire classification and its test report are being obtained. They will be stated here on receipt, together with admissible substrates and installation lead times.

The data you need

Material
Natural gypsum, cast in the workshop. Takes paint with no specific primer on a sound substrate.
Weight per m²
From 5 to 48 kg/m² depending on the reference, across the 177 references whose weight is documented. The exact weight appears on every product sheet.
Dimensions
Panels and mouldings are standard modules, dimensioned on the sheet. 113 references are dimensioned on the project: these are sculpted pieces, not repeated modules.
Reaction to fire
Gypsum is a mineral material that does not spread flame. The reaction-to-fire classification and its test report are being obtained. Ask the adviser for them if your project falls under public-access building rules: we pass them on as soon as we receive them.
Admissible substrates
To be confirmed project by project with the adviser. The substrate survey is part of the first appointment, and it is what determines the method of fixing.

BESPOKE

The catalogue is a starting point, not a limit.

Most of the projects we carry out appear in no collection. An architect arrives with a motif, a wall constraint, an idea of what the shadow should do at that precise spot. The workshop models the drawing, makes the mould, and casts the piece.

The principle is the same as for our collections, except that the drawing comes from you. The piece is calculated to the wall’s real dimensions, with no imposed format and no joint you have to put up with, and the relief is set to the light you have.

A piece designed by a specifier remains theirs. It carries their name, just as the pieces in our Design Line carry those of their authors.

Discuss a bespoke project

Speak to a project adviser

Describe your project in two lines. An adviser calls you back at the time you choose, with the technical answers your study needs.

Request an appointment

An adviser will call you back. Fields marked with an asterisk are required.

Choose “I am” first: the project types depend on it.

In square metres, even approximate.

Two lines are enough.
